Securing and Streamlining Access for a Leading Automobile Manufacturer

A Mumbai-based subsidiary of an Italian automobile giant manufactures 135,000 cars daily. To enhance security and efficiency, QodeNext implemented an RFID-based vehicle entry permit system. UHF RFID tags are assigned to executives and authorized drivers, mapped to VIN-Windshield tags for precise vehicle identification. RFID readers at the factory gates are integrated with the QodeNext Vehicle Track Application, ensuring automated access control. Only authorized vehicles can enter, and boom barriers operate seamlessly to regulate movement. The system also tracks entry/exit times and ensures controlled test track access, allowing a maximum of five vehicles at a time.
